DNA Training is a small company based in San Francisco, California that provides private ice-skating instruction from professional Don Corbiell. DNA Training provides high quality instruction to all levels of figure skaters. Whether you are a competitive skater, a recreational skater, a youngster or an adult you have come to the right place. I will train you with correct technique to help you achieve your skating goals whatever they may be. Just as people must learn to count before they can add and subtract, it is imperative to learn correct fundamentals in skating in order to progress. I believe that building a strong foundation with the basics in skating is the best way to achieve lasting results. This also adds to the enjoyment and safety of skating. I teach in a fun, positive manner, as I also believe that the learning experience should be enjoyable. Don Corbiell is DNA Training's instructor. He is a professional figure skater who have been teaching ice-skating for the past 20 years. He is a USFS Gold Medalist and a PSA Double Master Rated coach who has learned and studied technique with some of the world's most respected coaches and choreographers including Kathy Casey, Janet Champion, Christi Krall, Tamara Moskvina and Sara Kawahara. Don has toured nationally and internationally performing for 9 years with Ice Capades and other ice shows around the world. I teach at the Yerba Buena Ice Skating and Bowling Center, San Francisco's newest jewel located atop the Moscone Convention Center. This facility is centrally located in the newly developed Yerba Buena Gardens. The three story glass windows of the ice rink offer breathtaking views out onto Yerba Buena Gardens and the San Francisco skyline, making your skating experience like no other!
